Default Executive Golf "up north"

Our golfing group usually plays executive courses down near 466A as well as bogart and bacall. but we would like some recommendations for the north courses as well. What are your preferred courses at and north of 466?

For an easy round try Saddlebrook, Pimlico, and Hawks Bay. A little harder is Churchill & Belmont. All the way north is Briarwood, Walnut Grove, Amberwood @ Oakleigh. I like them all and can usually get tee times near your preferred time.

Why not try them all?

Try the closer ones first and work yourself north. Just go to GolfTheVifllages.com and look at the map.

Default Amberwood

Played at Amberwood today. Greens have been aerated recently an were covered by sand. Was the first time I have seen grass in fairways as I usually play on the southern courses where lawn mowers cut thin air and leave no grass on the course at all. Amberwood was very challenging and enjoyable in spite of the greens. Of interest the hole that was a 5 par is now a 4 par.
