Had my exit interview Tuesday. Final day at work was last Friday, but since it was a night shift and company holiday (NY Eve because NYD was a Saturday), it was delayed to this week.

All I see is sunny days.

Even if it did rain all night here.

Being paid well and liking your job makes it double hard to walk away. I will miss the people, challenges, stress and job satisfaction . This will be my second retirement so I have gone through the process once before. I have always liked my job and never felt like I did not want to go to work in the morning. That said, I do enjoy non-work activities as well (running, golf, hiking) and look forward to every weekend now.

Thanks to everyone for the encouraging remarks. Our trailer was just picked up and I am on my way to my exit interview. I have to turn in my laptop so I will be signing off for a bit. My PC is already packed.
