I read your explanation and have a question, if I may ask: You "tested the waters" as a result of inquiries from people who want to participate in meeting other people. I shall assume they are SINGLE !! Perhaps you could satisfy those single individuals wanting to meet other single individuals by creating a free "Singles-Mingle" Forum where they could express their intentions, without hiding behind an alter-handle.

When you said (in the deleted thread) your forum-for-a-fee would be using different handles and completely anonymous, it made me wonder WHY? If, as you said, there is no shame in wanting to connect with others, why the need for such secrecy?

I hope I haven't overstepped my boundaries by these questions.

The thread was deleted for a reason. The members don't want it, they were ready to lynch me. If it was such a bad idea, why is it necessary to continue to discuss it? I was a bad idea, I admit it. Please close the book.
