Per CDC guidelines, no activity that can be considered exercise needs to have a mask worn, whether it be inside or out. Golf is considered exercise.

I don't think anyone can TRACE spreading CV to pickleball, Swimming, bocce', fitness centers, Archery or many other activities. I believe its purely conjecture that it COULD be transmitted.

Wearing a cloth mask or bandana when unable to maintain distance is better than nothing, but not much. Take a peek at a British mEdical Journal study that shows that a cloth mask filters out only 3% of any particles in the air.

Do your homework. Vet your sources and double/triple check your info. Don’t take advice from those who are pushing a political agenda, or got their medical degrees from University of Facebook or Twitter State. Don’t be lulled into a false sense of security just because you or someone else has a bandana on their face.

That said, yeah, I’ll wear one to the grocery store, or if I ever get on the el or bus again where maintaining distance doesn’t always happen.

Being outdoors is another story. There is ample opportunity to provide a wide berth to others. If I go out for a hike, I’m not going to wear a mask. No amount of cancel culture tactics will change that. If anyone’s immune system is so compromised, or they are so paranoid, or so afraid, then, with all due respect, they should be the ones who keep their asses in the house.

I think that wearing mask should have been mandated from the get go. Why are people so opposed. It's for everyone's safety and to help dissipate the virus. What's wrong with everyone! And for the ones who cannot wear one because of health issues, well, I wouldn't step foot out the door in public anyway! I'm in NY and I don't have health issues and I haven't been out in public since March 13. Fortunately, my husband goes once a week to the supermarket and that's it. And we're still sane! The sooner people are responsible the quicker things can have a chance to get back to normal. It's not that terrible to stay home, with your cable and internet etc. Think back in history what kind of things people had to endure to survive. People hiding in attics for months just to not be found by the nazis or being in a contraction camp or our young men be drafted right out of High school to fight a war in Viet nam or all the other wars. Be patient my friends. Things will eventually return to normal.

I agree about the masks, and I thought that from the beginning. But, I believe that the "experts" lied to the public to prevent a shortage of masks for the health care workers. Just my opinion.

If breathing is restricted so much that they can't wear a mask, they fall into the at risk group that should stay at home. I am in the group and gladly stays at home, my life is more important than arguing over who should/should not wear a mask. I hope your's is too!!

Excellent point, I have been wearing a mask on the rare occasion in public since the middle of January when this surfaced. It really skyrocketed after the Chinese New Year celebration. It didn't take much common sense to realize we were dealing with something NO ONE has experienced before. They are still learning about this virus as it mutates and spreads. Please protect your safety and your friends/family: keep at least 6' distance and wear a mask in public places.
