I know the villages has a contract with fema to pick up the trash from hurricane. Is that just the stuff along the the main roads or are they going street by street and picking up resedential areas.

I don't believe they have a contract with FEMA. The details might be on districtgov.org but I don't have time right now to look for it.

What I heard in two meetings yesterday was:
- Information has been put out by the District
- More information will be put out by the District
- All hurricane debris should be put in the right of way (NOT in the street, NOT in your driveway)
- All debris to be put out by October 20
- The hauler will be contacted to come out after October 20
- This DOES NOT mean the hauler will be here on October 21 - they are busy too
- The sweep will include residential streets - you don't need to move your debris to the major Villages roads
