My tight wad ways die hard, I don't like our new disposable society and our quickness to throw stuff away. I also love to tinker so rebuilding things makes me feel good on top of being fiscally responsible.

We discussed this in the first thread. As they build the pool and worked on the landscaping the utilities and sprinkler lines were marked or got hit several times so unfortunately I'm pretty familiar with their locations.

Every year when we have bulk trash pickup, the streets are loaded with dozens of those beige plastic hose reels, these are almost useless as the plastic handles break off Barbeque grills come in a close second. One bad ignitor and they throw them away!!

I made an inquiry here for opinions of putting a white vinyl fence around my pool equipment to hide it from street and neighbors view. After a visit to the arc I installed 2 8 ft wide by 4 ft tall plastic fence panels from Home Depot at a cost of $450. The assembly and install took about 3 hours.

I think it looks a lot better with the pool equipment shielded from view. I'm kicking around the idea of putting one more panel as you can still see the equipment from the neighbors pool deck.
Looks very professional

Yup, or a gas line. It’s best if you do not choose to have locates done (free) to hand dig it for safety of the above mentioned (kaboom).

Wow...lovely way to discreetly present a pleasant view for your neighbors. You get the Good Neighbor award from me.
