I read a couple of posts on TOTV last night about the new home discount going away the end of the month. Guess that was the kick in the rear we needed.
I talked with our sales rep this morning. He confirmed that the incentive was indeed coming to an end. So.....I'll be in TV tomorrow to buy our dream lifestyle. I say "I", because unfortunately my wife can't get away on such short notice.
We have a deposit on a lot in St. Charles and when we visited the last time, in March we picked out our floorplan and the various packages and colors. Unfortunately, these packages and color schemes have changed. It'll be up to me, a guy who thinks 10 minutes to buy a pair of shoes is about 5 minutes too long, to pick out all these things and try to please the missus.
Ya'll pray for me.
I'll arrive from New York early tomorrow afternoon and hope to be on the first thing smoking out of Orlando Airport Sunday morning.
Now for a question: Is there anyone who might be able to drive past our new home site occasionally and snap a picture and send it to us by e-mail? We plan on returning to TV a few times in the next couple of months just to check on things but a picture now and then, as construction proceeds, would be great.

The discounts might very well end but last December I was told the same thing from a salesperson that you need to buy now because there will be no more discounts come January and here we are a year later.
