Does anyone know who the person is who makes the decision of what is planted in the islands and common areas and how we could contact them to weigh in on our preference for flowers? Does The Villages even take into consideration what residents like or dislike?

My wife had the exact same thoughts.
As a matter of fact a few weeks ago the landscapers were trimming these flowers as they would trim shrubs at the Brownwood sales center area.
I personally like various colored flowers. Glad the change out is now coming...
