There was a previous thread about starting an APBA baseball league. There seems to be more interest in a Strat-o-matic baseball league. A few possible parties have shown their interest. A league can get done but we need to know of anyone else having interest. Although the footprint of the league is yet to be determined, I am leaning toward the computer version for the simplicity of stats and accuracy of standings. I am also leaning toward using an older season somewhere in the late 1950's or early 1960's. But nothing is written in stone.

Years ago, in the Detroit area, I remember a fishing reel being advertised as the Strat-O-Matic. It could have been a RONCO enterprise. Time sure do change.

I have received a few PM's from people interested in a Stratomatic league. If anyone else is interested in a league where either we can meet at a rec center or play at each others house (Home team will be at their home) This league will be computerized and all stats, standings etc would be kept by the computer. From the ones I have heard from are interested in the years of our youth. We might be playing the 1956 season or 1961. or any other season we agree on.
