Default Beware Villages Logo Store

“Final sale, no return“ according to the clerk on duty. My wife attempted to return this item not knowing the policy. No signs, nothing on the receipt. Wife was willing to exchange, but nothing there fit . She asked the clerk what she was suppose to do. Answer from the clerk “lose some weight”. My wife barely weighs 120. In any case, poor customer service. Bottom line, they have our money. Hope they’re happy. Won’t be back and hopefully, readers of this post will avoid this store like the plague.

They have 3 stores and they sell more than just clothing. If they accept exchanges, maybe they have something at one of the other stores. Just a thought.

Legally, stores are not required to accept returns. Try getting a refund from any jewelry store other than Costco.

Wow that is surprising. Was the item off a sale or clearance rack or do they actually not take returns on anything in the store?

The OP's post is contradictory. The OP says that the policy was "final sale, no return". But, the OP also says that the store was willing to accept an exchange. These are two different things. If you are going to criticize a business, be accurate. Which is it?

I said wife was willing to exchange. It took a call to management before clerk would agree to that. She ended up with a coffee cup and a couple of toys that she didn’t need . No return policy was an afterthought on managements part. Look, they can be legally covered, but what a lousy way to conduct business.

I live here and I like it. But, I feel no need whatsoever to advertise, or to pay for it.

Then again, after seeing myself in the morning, The Villages is probably very glad I don't wear their stuff.

The best advertising is the golf cart bridges.
