During my early days on the Message Board I would have liked very much to meet participants of the Board. That is because I would like to have seen if some of them were as rude in person as they were on the Message Board. I couldn't believe some of the personal attacks that were resorted to by people who lost arguments on the merits.

I became aware of the meetings at Crispers at about the time that Crispers closed, so I never made it to a meeting.

Happily, I did get the opportunity to meet Grace and her family at another location, and had a very enjoyable visit. I regret that my physical condition prevented me from further visits.

If I were currently in The Villages, I would make a great effort to meet with members of the Message Board, many of whom I now consider "friends who I never met."

I have an appointment on the 17th at 3:30, so probably wont make it - darn - I'd love to meet up with everyone again. I really enjoyed the few meetings I got to before Crispers closed.

I don't know. Someone will check it out and tell us. What time does the entertainment start? Maybe we should make it a three? Let's make it at three. Then we can try to talk and use the chairs there?

I may be done by 3:30 so I could swing by if people are still around the Square. I assume you will go to Johnny Rockets or some such place to get out of the heat?

I see it is set for 4:00. Unless the ladies wear me out, I might be able to get there on time.

Maybe if there is another meeting, I will be able to make it. At that time, I will not be in the Villages. Going down soon, the last week of August, to look at homes. My husband said if it does not work out the way we want and do not agree on a house, we will forget about the Villages. I do not know, I have this big yearn to live in the Villages. Wish us luck!
