Default For full timers: What's your favorite 2 months in TV?

As we are about to change "seasons", I was wondering what everyone's favorite time of year to be in TV was ... and, why?

We like Feb. and March. Weather is just right~~~not too cool and not too hot. Lots of people but fun with the parades, shows, etc. and all of the activities. It is very hot and humid here in the summer with lots of rain so hard to plan a outing unless you do not mind getting wet. Golf is less and not as many people is a positive note for the July/August time.Depends on what you enjoy but you just learn to go with the flow!

I agree!! If you can stand the heat and play golf in the afternoons, on most days you can breeze thru a round in 3-3.5 hours. And the liquid refreshments taste great once you reach the 19th hole.

Default July and August

July and August is best time because: no snowbirds, restaurants are not crowded, sales are good, golf not crowded, prices lower, less people in stores, everything is green, less congestion and less reckless driving on recreation trails, people just seem friendlier.

Although not a choice in the poll, I think the next 2 months are best, God willing.

Default Only Been Here 3 Months

If we were still north I'd say Jan-Feb but having not been here for 12 months I'll choose a political answer. I'll wait and see.

Mrs "F" says she likes May-Jun.

I voted May/June. It was beautiful here, not too hot yet and the crowds are starting to disappear. I also loved July/Aug but I'm still getting used to the humidity and bugs so that's the only reason why I voted for May/June. Its nice here when you don't have to wait 3 hours to get in a restaurant and the round-abouts aren't nerve wracking, and it doesn't take me 10 mins to get out of my village.

Summer's too hot, BUT the Love Bug season are my favorite months; not for them, but for the weather. That's May and October. The streets and restaurants are emptier by then also.

Really a bit surprised by the results of the survey>seeing July and August so high! But after just having spent July and August in TVs I can certainly agree with: restaurants are not crowded and good specials, golf not crowded, prices lower, less people in stores, everything is green, less congestion and less reckless driving on recreation trails, people just seem friendlier. But also note you need to start playing Pickle ball by 7:30 in the morning and by 7:45 you will be very wet-forget the afternoons. Golf is bearable in the afternoon especially after a rain storm when it cools down a bit but its really nice to be able to go to any course after noon and get right on. Dancing in the Squares is best about 8PM after it cools a bit and the water sports (volleyball etc) are really great to do on those hot afternoon. Jan and Feb can often be a bit cool we prefer Dec and March, April. We haven't spent any time in TVs the rest of the months to comment but I would guess Oct/Nov area also nice.

I understand the notion of July/August being nice because of fewer people, but so far in September there seems to be even fewer people (which may make sense since visiting children/grandchildren are no longer here.) Is this just my imagination? Based on what I am seeing it appears that Sept/Oct may be the best of all worlds - low crowds and cooler/drier weather. Am I wrong?
