I had Skeeter Beaters install a power roll up. Love it! I get a great cross ventilation through my house when it is down. No more critters in my garage. Would definitely do it again

I have sliders. They came with my house. I love them. They keep out bugs, reduce the heat in the garage, and when you’re working in the garage you don’t feel like you’re in a cave.
I prefer sliders versus the motorized type because I go in and out of the garage a lot to work in the yard and can slide one door open and shut instead of having to open the entire motorized door. That part is personal preference of course. If I were to move I would definitely buy sliders for my next house.

Ditto. We are in and out of the house through the garage all day. Sliders made the most sense for us.

If you’re going to have a screen on your garage door to prevent the garage from getting hotter than the outside air temperature, don’t you also need exhaust fans near the ceiling of the garage to blow out the hot air?

I purchased preowned in 2010 and my house came with sliding screen door on the garage. I have never used it, it’s just in the way. I don’t live in my garage, my car does along with my golf cart.

I am so glad I got the sliders..I go in and out my garage a few times a day, getting mail, walking my dog, and I would not want to put the sliders up and down 4-5 times a day. So for me, I lives in a court yard villa I find this is the best....

Our house had the tracks but no screens, we had a roll up installed last December 2019. Yes, would do it again. Love it! Airs the garage out and keeps the bugs out. We had the garage doors maintained are same time. Would do that again too. So quiet and nice now, not clunky sounding.

Absolutely. Never slider. Roll up for sure! We put one in our villa & now in our new house. We had Sunshade install both.

If you don't want your garage screen anymore, I would be happy to remove it and pay you $200 for it.

We had sliders installed, since my husband likes to putter around in the garage. They are convenient for going in and out of the garage - however, the tracks accumulate bugs and dirt like crazy! I understand some of the electric roll-ups are now available with a doorway built into them.

Wonder if you could do tool up on big garage, and slider on golf cart ... just for best of both worlds. 😏

Yes, I would install another garage screen. We love it!!

We have an automatic-sectional roll up, just like garage door concept. It is beautiful, dependable, and lots of colors to choose from to match your residence.

Have had sliding screen doors for 17 years. Love them as I spend lots of time in and out of the garage. Lets in air and light. BUT, be careful. I have backed into mine several times while in a hurry and failed to move the screen all the way left or right. Had to replace screens several times. My fault for not being more careful.
