Default Garage Washer Dryer Room Light fixtures Dimmable?

I can't find any part number on the led fixtures in the garage or the washer room (or in the design book)

Trying to find out if these led fixtures are dimmable?

Hi NYJets, if your home was built in 2018 or newer, you may have the linear LED 4ft lights made by AFX (Part # for 4ft is SPRL0548). This fixture is not dimmable.

My build info lists the light as a SPRL054836L40MV
Google search shows it is dimmable.

Confused why previous comment says not dimmable? Maybe a change in design somewhere along time? Or different versions?

Note that, when buying LED bulbs, I always buy the dimmable type. The non-dimmable type are no longer very much less expensive, and I think they will eventually become obsolete.

I would think the dimmer switch controls ampere to light? I would think any light can be dimmed by lowering current? Now how long the light will last?

I found the same thing in a quick search, but the manufacturer’s specification sheet shows all of the various models are NOT dimmable. I’m curious as to why anyone might choose to have a dimmable fixture in the laundry room or the garage. Ambience?

Non-dimmable LED bulbs will not dim, and, if you connect them to a dimmer, they will not last very long.

Brought a new dimmer switch, hooked it up, and no go...the light just blinked and did not dim...dimmer for the misses, doesn't like the bright lights
