Villages Golf Carts. Great warranty service on their carts.

Another vote (recommendation) for Carts and Clubs. We had an excellent experience, the owner and his wife met with us during our purchase, and the cart we bought was perfect! Also, Carts and Clubs actually rewires the carts (I have everything in one nice easily accessible location), and they can/will do most work (repairs, maintenance) right in your driveway (note that we just bought about a month ago, so haven't had to use this service yet).

I actually found the prices somewhat the same between Carts & Clubs and the Villages Golf Store, but overall, my better deal was at C&C.

Good luck!

Carts and Clubs!!! My 1st Yamaha cart was a reconditioned from Village Carts. It was fine and served me well for 4 years. Service dept became very busy and cart would be tied up for days so I used an independent repair guy. Carts and Clubs can do most service in your driveway. Many small things such as the tabs and design of the enclosure make me enjoy my new Yamaha cart better.

Can anyone recommend a good place to start shopping, with good service and prices?

We have been in The Villages for 4 years and in Dec. went from electric to gas. We bought from Golf Cart Concepts on Hwy 441 not far from The Villages there # is 352-753-9920. We highly recommend them. We bought a 2010 that they completely refurbished with a 3 year guarantee. We picked out the color of the cart, the seat & sunbrella fabric and the type of wheels and rims. On top of that they gave us a loner cart until our NEW cart was delivered. Just over $7,500.00 (we had a $250 coupon from the newspaper). We received great customer service. Ask for Bob.

You can now get street legal gas golf carts. Just need special wind shield with manual wiper seat belts and plate.

I would just bite the bullet and buy a Yamaha gas at The Villages Golf Carts. They have a captive audience but so what. It's quite doubtful that you'll save $500 let alone$1K going anywhere else. By the way, we have an EZ Go gas but the two choices we have, are Town & Country Golf Cars and they do no serious repairs on gas engines. I will give them the fact that they are honest. Our second choice was Advantage EZ GO up on Southern Trace but tey seemed a bit snooty when we were looking last year. Our next cart will, more than likely come from The Villages. Enjoy shopping.

You might want to consider Electric over gas. I know it will be a personal preference choice, but consider the noise level and smell of gas carts. Not environmentally friendly either.....
