This one was between ponds. Stayed 4 hours then moved on.

I have been in Florida since 1997, always had a dog, never had a gator on my porch

Do they travel through the sewer system? A lot of wildlife use sewers to get around.

No here they waddle over the grass, roads etc, above ground. They are not shy.

Probably lost on it’s way to the pond so it stopped to ask for directions, obviously a female!
