Default Geckos, Skinks and Anoles

Anyone know of a repellent for these little creatures ! ! ! Something that might be sprinkled around our lanai to keep them away. I know they are harmless but just as soon they stay outside.

Personally, I appreciate them -- they keep the bug population down.

You could get a cat and the poor things will never have a chance indoors.

I enjoy sitting in the lanai and watch them running here and there, i have not had any of them get inside, you may have an opening in your screen that is letting them in.

I think the little critters are cool and enjoy watching them. I haven't yet noticed any geckos though. The green anoles are native....they like high shrubbery....and I suspect they'll be an endangered species soon. The most likely likely anoles getting inside your lanai are the brown imports (Cuban I think). I don't think your going to repel the these little guys....they're a hardy species.

Johnz, I agree, the little guys are cute and fun to watch. My dog Biggins also thinks they are fun (and I suspect he also thinks they would be delicious) so I occasionally have to relocate one from the lanai to the great outdoors.
