What does a wait (with no appointment) have to do with ANY insurance company?

Frontline gave me a low price last year. The renewal was 45 percent higher. Keep shopping.

You are correct, agents can’t control an insurers premiums. However, good agents work with an extensive portfolio of insurers and should know which companies will offer the best rates for each clients individual situations. Good agents also answer the phone or get back to you quickly and are both friendly and helpful. The Villages insurance wasn’t cutting the mustard on any of those fronts so we dumped them about three years ago.

Of course they did, fresh meet always gets the attention. Service levels are based on the number of agents/sales folks ratio to policyholders. As that ratio increases response decreases. When you have a claim is when you will find out how good they are. My point on the doctor appointment is that the doctors are usually more critical to my life than an insurance agent. Can't imagine why I would need an insurance agent to call me back the same day.

At least I've learned how to use the "Quote Function"...

And when you've lost the argument, you count posts...
