Maybe I'll see you at the 11/15 polo game. Bye for now, take care.
Welcome to the land of ball marks and unfilled divots. Seriously, we REALLY miss the kids and grandkids but wouldn't trade living here for anyplace; an awesome place to be living the dream.

Made it here safe and sound, two little doggies in tow. Yes, Tomwed, my computer IS in the laundry room---that's the way it is setup with a built in desk and a hole through the granite for wires. Why did the architect put it in the laundry room???---who knows, but since I do most of the laundry anyway I think it will work out just fine.
Pick up my golf cart in 2 hours, then I'll start feeling like a real villager

And now for a musical request, dedicated to a very special person
(sung to the tune of "I've been working on the railroad")

I've been waiting for a lobster
All my moving days
I've been tasting all the butter
Driving coastal bays
Can't you smell the seafood cooking?
Barefoot lost her bets
I'll be waiting at the Lighthouse
Cause Cubbies lost to Mets

After this one makes it to the Billboard top 40, I'll start working on others

And then the Mets lost to The Royals. Let me repeat that for those in the laundry room who may not hear with the dryer going.

The Mets lost to the Royals.

Bonefish is an acceptable venue for my championship dinner. You can come in your new golfcart.

Of course, when the Mets played and beat the Cubs in 4--yes, count 'em 4 games, it was not clear who they would be playing in the series. But I'll be happy to eat my lobster at Bonefish.

I apologize. I totally misunderstood what you wrote. I entered you in in the 11/15 Polo Game and you are expected to play for the home team and ride on a horse named "Skittish". Sounds like a girls name so I wouldn't be too worried. Good luck!

What is the Skittish tartan of his team?

GE - we are happy you are here and arrived safely. Now you'll have to be a little more careful with your comments. After all we know where you live now. Bwaaahahhaaaaaaa
Seriously, so happy you are here!

For all I know about polo, I could believe you. Ralph Kramden knew more---he had a string of "poloponies". Maybe I'll learn something this Sunday

I'm thinking I can easily hide and blend in with 115,000 other Villagers. Of course the neon sign over my head that reads "lame jokes" might be a dead give away Also the sign that reads "Where's my lobster" could be easily spotted as well

Wow. Even I've missed you, GE. I'll have to do some deep personal examination to try to figure that one out!!

I was kidding around and posted that I waited for the Eagle at The Lighthouse on Saturday night.
I said I waited FOR THREE HOURS so he could buy me lobster.
I wasn't even at the Lighthouse, we had company at our house. I was totally kidding!
I got a PM from someone that felt I was "stalking" the Eagle.

I say Mets lost World Series and they did, I clearly won!

I can't hear what the Eagle is saying, his dryer in on.

So no lobster, just a beer at "World of Beer"!

Or meet on the patio of Square One Burgers and bring the dogs!
