Are you talking about an electric cart (you mentioned a speed controller), if so, be sure to take a look at the sensor on the accelerator pedal as well as any linkage. I had previously helped a friend, and we found the original sensor (a potentiometer) had failed, then after the replacement we had problems with the linkage, and the controller finally failed, at a cost of $1000.
At the time he could NOT find anyone that would work on the cart (a California based street rod). I am hoping that some of the independent service people have started to branch out to the other carts.
I have used Todd Casey for our Yamaha cart, and was pleased with his work.

Was told they are not taking new customers with electric carts. Unfortunately, they feel that they can’t service their customers up to their high standards because of extreme difficulty sourcing necessary parts.
