Be careful what you ask for, if you can get there then they can get to where you live and use the amenities near your home.

Default Golf Cart Accessible

Yes, Middleton will be golf cart accessible in the future, the homes being built have golf cart garages. There will not be an amenity fee, thus non-age restricted resident ID's are limited to Middleton amenities only.

Tunnels are are already in place under 470.

Go to Magnolia Plaza and take the MMP under Warm Springs.

So how long will it take to get from Middleton to Calumet Grove by golf cart?

That’s probably why there’s a renewed ‘checking of IDs’ recently.

How their recreational facilities, common ground maintenance, etc. funded?

Since it's 1 hour 28 minutes from Monarch Grove to Calumet Grove, once the new MMP is completed that will run along Marsh Bend Trail down to the Central Parkway and then over to Middleton, I'd say another 20 minutes, so pretty much close to 2 hours. Pack a lunch.

They don’t have Recreation Centers in Middleton per se, instead they have neighborhood parks with pools, playgrounds and other activities geared to the younger crowd. No big recreation buildings.

No VCCDD to collect and manage Amenity Fees, so instead they have an Annual Maintenance Fee paid to and managed by their CDD. The Annual Maintenance Fee starts at a little over $1,200 per year.

All the homes do have Bonds ranging from $22,000 to $42,000.

There will be golf cart connectivity into the Villages allowing Middleton residents to travel that mode to Open to the Public destinations such as Sawgrass, Eastport and the other Town Squares. The same will also allow Villagers to travel to Middleton Square and events at the High school such as football games and productions at the Tracy Performing Arts Theater.

Also, for those that are worried about an invasion of young people, Middleton isn’t the first Family Community in the Villages, it’s the fourth one. Most folks don’t even know about the other three.

Support these families, they are the ones that do all the work that allows us our Villages Lifestyle.

Yup, my bad. I drove over it a few weeks ago and didn't notice that the golf cart path was not open.

Carts are now allowed across the bridge because cart paths have not been installed. They don’t want carts there yet because the amount of heavy machinery traffic…too dangerous!

There is actually 4, in Sumter county Bison Valley, behind Southern Trace shopping area and Oxford Oaks behind the north Charter School complex. In Lake County Oak Meadows behind the bowling alley and Spring Arbor southeast of Del Mar.
