Golf Cart Problem?
I have a new 2009 Club Car Precident that I bought in November. I am unhappy with the way it rides. It runs on smooth roads like it has egg shaped wheels (thats the best I can describe it). The dealer has replaced all four tires and it seemed to help a bit but it still jumps around too much in my opinion. I have never driven a cart on smooth roads before so my question is, is this normal? Is there anyone in the Hemingway area with a cart like this I could compare it to? I just don't know whether to complain more about it or not. I was at my wits end until I remembered all the help available on TOTV. Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
Bob

The tiny wheels on a golf cart exaggerate any imperfections of the pavement surface. Pavement that seems smooth to a car (which is much heavier, has lager wheels & more sophisticated suspension) can easily seem rough in a golf cart.

My neighbor bought a new Club Car a year ago from the CC dealer on 441. He had the same problem you had and spoke with them often about the problem, they never fixed the problem. He ended up buying new tires on his own and that solved the problem.....GN

What brand of tires?
Quote:
What was the brand name of the replacement tires, if you know? Dirigo

I had a similar problem. Turned out that the center cap on the wheel wasn't centered right. The lug nuts held it in the incorrect position causing a wobble and weird ride. Loosened the wheel, centered the cap, problem solved.

have them keep changing the tires. don't give up. call everyday, 2 or 3 times if you need to. It's new. Not one of those rebuilds that the Villages sell, so it should be perfect! good luck, hope it works out for you.
