Default Golf cart rental

Hi, I’m looking for advice on a monthly golf cart rental for December. Interested in a good company in the villages, or outside the villages that delivers. Thank You

You can try Villages golf carts and Villages Discount golf carts, I THINK both rent carts, I also recall seeing ads in the Daily Sun (you may be able to see these online) for golf cart rentals.

The Villages does rent them, but be aware that they may only go 14mph. I haven't rented from them in over 10 years, so maybe something has changed. Feel free to give a more updated review, but it was downright embarrassing clogging up golf cart traffic and that piece of crap.

It would be nice to have a nice cart rental. The Villages aren't anything special, no seat belts, etc.

We rented one for The Villages Golf Cars. It was easy. The cart was basic but fine and went 21MPH. Something like $175/week if I recall correctly.

Like that is a tad over the speed maximum for a non LSV (Low Speed Vehicle) which requires registration, road insurance, etc., unlike a golf cart. would be alot more expensive to rent than a golf cart which goes 20 mph max

Be careful what you want/wish for. . .

Warning received and understood. Now let adults make up their mind about how fast they want to go and whether or not they're willing to risk a ticket if caught. There are a whole lot of us that are willing to risk whatever to do whatever we want. Kinda how many successful people became successful. They weren't sitting home all risk-averse and wringing their hands and losing sleep about going a few miles over the speed limit.

Most Yamaha gas carts are set to do 23 MPH from the factory. Mine is one of them.

A non-LSV that is able to go over 20MPH doesn't make it an LSV.

The only time that I've heard of someone getting in trouble was a modified cart caught doing well over 25MPH in Brownwood.

That’s assuming it’s pedal to the metal…..right?

I just went to the grand opening of JB Golf Carts. Near Hwy 466 and Oak Street. They had some beautiful golf carts there and they do rentals. I’d check them out. By the way, I am not affiliated with them, but I was impressed with what I saw.

As previous poster said, no seat belts in TV rentals. And the ones we’ve rented have had a very low arm rests so not much holding you in.

David's Villages Golf Cart Rentals is top notch. Very fair pricing. We've used his services for years when we visited here and now that we are living here we use his services for our guests.

JJ golf carts delivers… the Villages Golf Cars don’t. There’s also Titan Golf Carts.
