Where did you buy it? If at TV cars let them look at it as it has a 5 year warranty.

It’s most likely your starter/generator. Brushes are probably worn. You can replace new (expensive) or rebuilt (not as expensive). The Villages Golf Cars or any come-to-your-house Cart Service can do.

As submitter above mentions, I would suspect worn brushes.

I’ve had a similar issue with my 2 yr old battery. The issue was an overtightened battery terminal that made the connection loose. I now have to get a new terminal connection and all will be well. Hopefully you find an easy fix for your cart.
