I regularly wonder what a refurbished golf cart means. You can for example clean it,
spray some paint to make things look new and hope it lasts. You can replace, belts,
battery, put some paint on it to make it look new and hope it lasts. You can replace
the engine with a rebuilt one etc. Quite a difference in what refurbished means in cost to the refurbisher and the value to the buyer of a refurbished golf cart..

Villages Discount Golf has good prices. But don 't count on them for any minor services or parts after the sale - they will say maybe our service department location can provide the part. No mention of "I'll see if they can help." And don't count on them if there is a Yamaha recall - they won't even notify you of the recall.

We also got our cart from Village Discount Golf Cars and were very happy with the service. We did have occasion to go Village Golf Cars at Sumter Landing and talked with Kathy there. She was VERY helpful. In fact, I went back to find out about ordering name decals for our cart and she gave me the name of the gentleman who does their name decals and told me to call him personally because it would be cheaper. She even had me take a picture with my phone of the fonts he offers. She didn't have to do that and we didn't even buy our cart from them.
