Default Golf notification via email

Is it possible to get an email from our villages golf registration site - advising us of our tee time?

Sign into villages.net, go to golf and go to review/change personalized settings. Select the option to eMail confirmations to you.

I guess that you can but we just go to thevillages.net about three or four days prior to your requested tee time and course.

They will send a confirmation email, but only to a villages.net email account...

Yes but you can set the settings to always forward your e-mail. Then just set it to forward to your favorite every day e-mail address. Works like a charm!

Yes, forward to your regular email account. However, once in a while you should go to your villages.net email account and delete all the unread emails in the inbox.

Just went to my villages.net email account, 597 emails, plus the capacity bar almost full. Is there a way to DELETE ALL or what is the best way?

You can only do a page at a time. The same as most web based e-mail clients. A real pain!

If you, like me, only use that e-mail for that purpose then choose don't save in your inbox after forward. That way your inbox stays clean and you don't use space.

Try this. Place cursor on first email in the list. While holding down the Shift key, use the scroll bar to select multiple lines. Then click on delete. This may work because the mail interface is a typical Windows application. If so, then (with practice) you can delete big chunks at a time.

If they are in your inbox, you can click the box over the first email in the list to select all of them on that page and then click on the delete button. The ones on the page will be deleted and you will see the next bunch. Just keep doing that process until they are gone.

I didn't realize I had over 300 emails in my inbox. Using this method, I was able to delete about 50-70 at a time. Only took a few minutes to clean everything out.
