This should be replicated many times onto a plaque. And install these plaques above the entry door for all TV Pro Shops.

I play piano and will a $25,000 Steinway make me play the piano better ? NO Way it’s the pianist not the instrument. So I’m guessing it’s the golfer not the club that makes the golfer better at putting.
In the hands of someone who does know what he/she is doing, the $25K Steinway will create a sound as if from Heaven. And the $1200 putter may be enough more true to the line and speed to win some tournaments. Most of us can't make either of those things happen, but some people can.

If one has the $$$$ to burn so be it. Who are we to judge? People drive $100,000 cars and buy $2,000,000 homes. The same could be said for that.

Maybe he was standing behind a tree taking a leak. If ya gotta go ya gotta go!

Red face

Sometimes equipment does make a difference. You wouldn't expect to go bowling and use a house ball and shoes and expect to carry a 200 or 250 average in a league.

Why has no one thought that the poor golfer called someone as he may have had a medical emergency??? Could the golfer have had dementia and walked away? Why assume this unsuspecting golfer is careless. There are so many other legitimate reasons.

There are days I wish someone would steal my clubs.

The hell with the clubs, what about the car! Is there a Follow-up story or is this CLICKBAIT?

As much as I want to believe most of us are law abiding decent individuals, I agree with the OP that you can't tempt people, not even in TV. A friend had his camping chair stolen from the back of his cart.

While that is true, improperly fit equipment can make the game almost impossible to play. Good equipment can help a person to play better,

Having said that, $9,000 for a set of golf clubs and $1,200 for a putter is absurd. That $1,200 putter is not going to improve a player's putting over a $200 putter. But, a decent well balanced, forgiving and correctly fit putter will help a player make more putts than a miniature golf putter.

I don't know of one PGA Tour player that uses a $1,200 putter. If it helped to make more putts, they's all be using it.

I'm guessing that it gold plated or something like that.

As far as a $25,000 Steinway goes it also may have fancy inlays, ivory keys, and more expensive finish details that have nothing to do with the sound.

I went to Walmart and Publix last week and when leaving the stores noticed at least 6 golf carts with clubs in the back and no one in any of the carts. If someone was inclined to steal them, it could be done in seconds. I presume some people think it won’t happen to them.
