St.Augustine doesn't grow from seeds.

In these posting there are a number of examples of the "wise guys" of TOTV's! The OP asks a good question and immediately there are the comedian who try to make fun of the poster's question. This is the reason some refuse to post questions as they are faced with being mocked for even asking the question!

Empire Zoysia grass does the same thing.....infiltrates flower beds and tunnels up into the middle of the bed too.

St. Augustine grows into flowerbeds but it stays on top of the bed and is so much easier to control and clean up. I have both on our property and much prefer the St. Augustine just for the maintenance of it. The Empire Zoysia is pretty and nice on bare feet but it doesn't stay nearly as green as St. Augustine all year long.
