Sorry I got to disagree with you Cheryinclif about wind & birds. The grass they put down is sod. Birds could of brought these seeds to your yard but I notice it was growing in the sod when we moved in & sod was just put down. Golf courses it could have!

The technician from Dean’s that sprays our yard told me that he’s noticed the problem in a lot of new yards south of 44. He speculated that it was coming from the sod farm that way.

I've had success with Nutsedge, it will take a few applications but it worked.
