Same for me. I don't understand if they are making appointments at Groveland and other sites why there are lines. I think I saw two or three people getting shots while I was waiting for reactions. They are scheduled every fifteen minutes or so. This was the case with both my first and second shot. No lines.

No appointments necessary at Groveland only.

I also got my second shot yesterday (2/24). I received an automated call on Monday and tried to go on Tuesday. Was there at 10:30 in a long line on Rt 27. Shortly after, the police advised that there will not be enough vaccine. Got there at 7:15 yesterday and was still in a long line on 27 about 1.5 miles from the site entrance. I received the shot at 9:40. Normally, Groveland is a second shot only site; first come first served. I was lucky to get my first shot there in early Feb when they had a real slow day (unusual). Also, I noticed some cars being told to leave because they did not have their first shot card with them in order to verify that they were receiving their 2nd dose. My suggestion would be to go early, plan on a long wait and avoid having too much coffee unless you wear your depends! :-)

Same here. We got ours at a Publix and there was only one couple in front of us. We were early and had a two hour difference in our time of appointments, but they put us together in the earlier time slot. We waited only for the couple in front of us and they offered us chairs to wait. We were treated exceptionally well, and were out of there after waiting the prescribed fifteen minutes. Our second appointment was for the same time, exactly one month later.

I went at 10:45 a.m. last week for my second dose and there was no one in line at all. My friends went the following day at 10:45 and again no one in line. Seems that later in the day is better when you avoid the morning Rush

Default Going to be as polite as possible...

My personal experience with this and watching others deal with inability to even get appointments is — you aren’t the center of the universe and get to dictate time, place and Phizer/Moderna preference as much as you might wish to. Be grateful that you have even snagged an appointment, patiently wait in line if necessary and thank your lucky stars. Some people are never happy.

Totally agree. There are a lot of younger than 65 that would gladly take any time that others do not feel is convenient.
Summer will be a time of returning to normal.

Our first shot at Groveland was on Feb 5 2021 with the second shot schedule date of Feb 26 2021. At the time of the first shot was informed that we would receive a email and or a phone call to confirm second appointment. On Feb 22 2021 receive a voicemail from Lake county informing me that I was to report to Groveland on the 24th of Feb between 8 am to 12 pm and my wife received the same info. We arrived at 6:30 am inline that was 1 1/2 miles long, started moving at 7:15 am, after the shot was out of there by 8:30 am. The sign going into the facility noted second shot only and they require your shot card, if you lost it already they will issue a new card with all shot data. The new shot card holders will have the new card pinned to the outermost garment and a note, ha,ha .
