No appointment at Groveland

Yesterday (2/24/21) morning at 8:10 AM I went by the line on Route 27 that was waiting for their Covid shot. I wasn't looking to get any shots. I was simply going elsewhere and passed by this location.

The line was at least 2 miles long on Route 27 at that time. I also remember seeing a sign on the rear of a vehicle at the end of the line about them being closed or something like that.

At first, I didn't know what the line was even about. I thought maybe there had been a wreck since I could see police cars with flashing blue lights. But, apparently, it was the line to get the Covid shots. Glad that I wasn't in that line. The line was backed up almost to Route 565.

I got there abouT 4:45 a.m. and read in the car until the first batch of cars was taken to the injection site. They started an hour earlier than stated, and I was on my way home at 7:10 am.

Thank you. My reply was to Girlcopper regarding her experience at Publix.

Hello -
New to the areas -
Where is Groveland ?
Is Groveland offering second Pfizer shot if the first vaccine shot was received at a different location ?
Are appointments necessary ?
What paperwork is required to receive the second shot ?
If patients just show-up, what time is suggested ?
Thanks
