Too many years as a RN doing shift work! My hubby, bless his heart, is a morning person. He's up by 0700 and ready for bed at 2230-2300. Not me!! I wake up, if un disturbed around 1030 and easily stay up until 0200-0300.

We also have time zone issues to complicate things. I have worked in Ca for the past 10 yrs. so I have serious sleep issues.

Tomorrow is my last day of work!! Yahoo. Then I can join my hubby in TV fulltime. I am hoping to get my internal clock reset as I will no longer be commuting.

As for mornings...we aren't coffee drinkers, I need a little time to clear out the cobwebs and
A half hr on the lanaii looking out over Killdeer and Evans Prairie does that for me.

I wouldn't say I'm grumpy, rather a bit spacey. Within 30-45 mins I'm fully functional. But I don't think I'll ever be up to view the sunrise. Sunset is fine with me!!
Woohoo Dotti! Congratulations on your last day!

Safe travels to TV.

Up at 4:00 AM need the quiet of morning, to read the paper with my two cups of coffee and then I can face the world. Getting up very early is a habit and started because following my stint in the Navy and being married worked fulltime and went to college fulltime and so early mornings were essential for studies. wish i still had that kind of energy today

I am the same way. Don't look for me before 10 am or I will be grouchy as I don't go to bed until 2 or 3. It's a shame that life stops around 9 pm here.

I'm a night owl too, let's get together and do something while everyone else is sleeping. The Village night owls social group.

Every night I dream I'm a substitute teacher and the days isn't going well. When I wake up and realize it was just a dream, I'm happy.

Until now, I never appreciated the upside of a bad dream.

Happy all the time, and even happier, if I have a couple of drinks.

I wake up . . I'm happy, I go look in the mirror smile and declare, "I'm back"! Then it's time for a good ole cup of tea.

Still having time zone issues? How long have you been here?I lived literally half way around the world. I had a twelve hour time difference and I adjusted after one day.
