That’s when we decided that we needed to go further south.
Did see very light snow in Palm Beach County in 1977. Had to look hard. Unlike what hit NW Florida on Tuesday

Lol. That was my intention when I moved here, go as far south as possible while still being able to afford it.

Key West was ruled out for obvious reasons. I can't even afford to look at pictures of it. I considered Cape Coral/Fort Myers but the cost of homeowners insurance and the possibility that I would have to rebuild my home every 10 years spooked me. Miami is too expensive as well.

The rest of Southern Florida is a gigantic swamp.

So, here I am.

My sisters in Minnesota sent me pictures of their thermometers the other day. It was -15 and -21°. Throw in the windchill and you're talking 35 below zero. I don't know how I put up with that for 50+ years.

That's why you need this shovel! A mere $100 and it's yours! Did you see those poor goobers in New Orleans trying to remove 6" of global warming with a measly squeegee? Don't let that be you! A mere $100!

When I see snow come to The Villages, I will be looking to move further south. Like maybe Panama!

The only ice I want to see is in my drink. Let's hope this is it for the year.

I remember that someone made a little snowman at the Marion County Flea Market and the picture was in the Daily Sun.
