There are lots of white Pelicans around. As always they are a delight to watch, especially the way they cooperate to fish.

Saw a few (5-10) flying into the pond on Canal south of O'Dell (probably Village of Hemingway. It's the same pond I was told is used for fly-fishing. The interesting thing was that also lining the shore were probably 20-30 white egrets, lined up every few feet along the shore - usually I only see one or two egrets at a time at any one pond, maybe up to 4 or 5, but not a lot.

We drove past Sandhill course yesterday afternoon and the pond was loaded with pelicans and white egrets.

Lots of white pelicans near the pond where Hillsborough Trail and Oracle Ct. meet.

Yes. I was golfing at Spruce creek and there was a large flock that flew by. At least from far away they look like pelicans. They were large white and had black on there wing tips. Could be mistaken but it was the only bird I know that looks like that.
