I think the plan your company purchased left a lot to be desired if you constantly had to go out of network especially if it covered almost nothing.

With that being said, the UHC Medicare Complete is better coverage than the plan I had at work and I paid less premiums. Peanuts, compared to the total bill. UHC customer service is really good.

When it comes to medical plans, one size does not fit all so one must choose the plan that best suits their needs. I wish you good health and better coverage going forward.
My UHC plan was about 13 years ago. I have fine coverage now. On our UHC plan..everything that was "in network" was out of town. And we weren't living in a tiny town at the time. So if you wanted to see local docs you had to go out of network. It's very likely that the company bought a crap plan from UHC.

I would agree as my plan when I worked left a lot to be desired also.
