Default Help,Im in a panic

We are coming down to close this friday. We put our money in the bank to wire it to the title office. This morning the money was in the bank,,this evening the money was GONE. The note along side the transaction said memo debit. All but one hundred dollars of my deposit was GONE. Can someone set Mrs. Kregski and my mind at ease? Its the weekend and monday the investment firm is closed. thanks ,,,

Just a thought but if you wrote a check the bank can hold the check for 5 -10 days and only has to give you immediate access to $100. I would think there is a bank number that is 24/7. Good luck and hope everything comes out ok.

When we placed our money into the bank (Bank of America), they placed a hold on the certified funds we deposited. The hold last 10 business days or two full weeks. It also caused a problem with the closing. After talking to the branch manager several times she was able to release the money for the closing. I would suggest calling the bank first thing Monday and find out how long they place the hold on the money.

Don't panic Kreg, everything will be fine. Believe me they will figure something out. They want this closing to go through. Breath in..... Breath out..... Breath in..... Breath out.....

Hey, I hear I'll finally get to meet you and the Mrs. at Crisper's! Great!
