I thought about that, but to get the pesky varmints Iā€™d have to shoot holes in the screen. However, when I know that Iā€™m going to have to replace the screen soon anyways, watch out squirrels.

If they would be doing their jobs the problem would have been solved awhile ago

In my experience, rodents don't try to get into a lanai unless there's something inside attracting them like any type of food source.

Pellet gun works. But a more humane way is trapping then relocating.

Agree, I had to trap out about 10 and haul them off to isolated oak forest.

Default Screen

Had same problem, they poke thru on the bottom of the screen. Once they know food has been there you will never get rid of them...........and eventually birds will poke thru as well........

So, we decided to put a kick plate in on the bottom part of the screen. Problem solved. Company is Custom Screens, father/son, very reasonable as well.

Best Bet.............

This is starting to sound like the southern Texas border. Build walls, relocate them? You probably require a permit from the owner of "the Nice Oak Forest.
