Default Help with Vinyl Floor

If you have vinyl in your kitchen maybe you can help a friend with an issue she is having. Does the vinyl rip or get gouges very easily? She has a very heavy metal with glass top table set and is afraid to use it. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

If you are talking about the cheap, sheet vinyl that the builder installs, then, yes, she needs to be careful about it. Sliding heavy furniture on it, or even pulling out the refrigerator can cause it to tear or gouge. But, if you are careful to use leg protectors on the table and chairs, it shouldn't be a problem. When you pull out the refrigerator, use a hard plastic sheet to protect the floor from the small plastic wheels on the refrigerator.

Thank you so much and yes it’s the vinyl the builder uses, I will pass this information on. Enjoy the rest of your day.
