Hi and

Any Chapman Loopers out there? That's my name for those who live in Hemingway on the streets within Chapman Loop. It's kind of a unique place and I'm sure we'll all have some fun get-togethers when we all live there. I can't believe how fast that neighborhood went up. It was full of dirt lots in April and full of houses by July when we closed on our Monroe Terrace house.

Hi,
We just closed on our CYV on Adriana Way. Coming down the end of August to get it decorated and ready to rent. We have to just dream of the good life for about another year until we retire. Waiting until March to list our house in Minnesota in hopes that we can have it sold around June or July. My wife is a paraprofessional in the school district so waiting until school year is over. Hope to meet some our new neighbors on the "LOOP" when we are there in three weeks.

Hi -- We live in Duval winters and Illinois summers, but just closed on a larger house on Chapman Loop last Monday -- We may not move til later in the year as we are getting Duval ready to rent and need to head back north next week -- I see about ten houses occupied on the loop -- We need to start a social club and get a web page going -- Thanks for starting a thread -- Lucko

We just moved into a CYV on Orwell in Adriana Villa. Just talked to a lady who moved in a few months ago and has the same ideas. We will stay tuned.

I'm still here also. We just got back on Monday from a week visit to get our home set up to put in PM. Since we will be renting it out for the next year it was a hurry up week to get it all ship shape. We were able to meet our neighbors on both sides briefly. Looking forward to next summer to get to meet more of you and we also would like to get involved with neighborhood get togethers. Sadly it seems far away, but we are hoping it will go fast. We had a great time there anyway and it is nice to be convenient to so many areas close to Hemingway.

The Hollyberry Social Club of Duval is having a costume Halloween party for all residents of Duval and Hemingway in the Truman Recreation Center at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 14, 2008. Go to the Duval/Hollyberry Social Club web pages for details on the potluck party. Happy haunting --

After 60 days of this thread, it seems not many are getting aquainted through TOTV -- Get your neighbors involved with this or search them out on < www.sumterpa.com > and see how many properties arre now occupied with future friends. I hope some ambitious person will start a Hemingway or Looper web page and get the party rolling.

Welcome Bob and Cathi! A web page would be great, Lucko. With pictures of all of us having fun! Although we personally aren't having fun yet, we soon will be. Movers are coming next week to give estimates and we plan to move to TV around the 2nd week of December. Christmas in TV! We can hardly wait!
