What is wrong with going the speed limit everywhere? They are posted limits, not suggestions. If you are late, then just be late and plan to leave earlier next time. "Lack of planning on your part, does not constitute an emergency on everyone else", as my boss used to say when the engineers would turn in paperwork for revision on an emergency basis.

Some people are just born contrary Bogie. We get annoyed on this forum with their negativity, but imagine what their spouses have to deal with 24/7.

I can't see how agreeing with that idea would be politically correct or incorrect. It is a rule. Follow it. OR

You and Martha and Dolly Madison and I didn't have flashing school zone lights because we had crossing guards. Eventually automation took over, most guards left, and flashing lights are not getting the job done. Hence the radar guns. And no doubt it's a cash cow, but why not if it's going to keep the kids safer. I see kids up there crossing frequently. If one kid up there got hurt, there would be hue and cry on TOTV re police not doing their job.

School zones are restricted to 20 MPH, but my neighborhood streets are 15 MPH. I guess that says that us old folks aren't as good as little kids at crossing the street.
