Default Holiday/Christmas Lights in TV

Along with many of our neighbors we would like to go on a golf cart crawl of the best decorated homes in TV. Does anyone know of a list or can you recommend houses to check out? Thanks, Mitch

In the past there has been a list in the Daily Sun of places to view.
There was an article last week about a particular street.....don't recall the street.

Went by there a week ago during the day and you can see that the decorations are.

Default Lights tour

In the Dec. Recreation calendar it says that on Dec. 13th there is a tour from Laurel Maor and on the 17th one from Mulberry Grove. You might be able to get a list or map from the Rec department.

Mitch - Ther is an article in today's paper about a house in Pennecamp. I don't knows if they have much outside, but if you want to put it on your tour, we know where it is and we know the people that the article highlights.

Was just down at my house for the weekend and saw the display in Calumet..it is on the street right after the Calumet Pool....the synchronization of the lights to the music at all the houses was amazing! Further down the street a neighborhood had white trees at the foot of their driveways with each house decorated more than the others...beautiful. Also, in Santo Domingo, there were some lanes beautifully decorated..each house looked prettier than the next. It got too chilly with the golfcart and so we all hopped into the car and drove around..so many houses beautifully lit up! Very festive! One night friends took us out to Cottom Farm...beautiful display on the property worth the fifteen minute or so drive...do not know the street, but the Florida Carriage Museum is on the same street off of Rt 25

It's on Marion County Road; incredible -- well worth the trip.

Directions:
Take 466 east
Turn left onto Rolling Acres Rd -- 0.5 mi
Take the 1st right onto Oak Rd -- 0.7 mi
Turn left onto FL-25 N/Hwy 25 – 2 mi
Turn right onto Marion County Rd
Florida Carriage Museum is at 1.5 miles (on the right); keep going past it for another mile or two.
Cottem Farms is on the right side. Enjoy!

Bill - It's on Eldridge Loop. We were just by there earlier tonight and as it turns out, its not much to look at. Most of what was depicted in the newspaper is inside and we didn't go in. I doubt seriously if they would care to have a whole parade of people through their house to see their display.
