Default Home Depot Bath Remodel?

Anyone have a bathroom remodel done thru the local Home Depot lately? What was your experience?

I had my bathtub removed and a new one installed by Home Deopt 2 yrs ago in my Connecticut home. The subs that HD contracted with were very good, on-time and no issues. I put the toilet, sink and tile floor in myself. HD had zero percent financing for 12 months so I spread the cost out over a year. Would definately use them again!

Thanks, George. Actually we were hoping that someone has had experience here in TV, since HD uses local contractors. Glad you had a good experience with HD in general, though.

Default Hpme Depot Bath Remodel

We had HD do an 3 ensuite in 2004 for $7,800.00. Got their own stnd. 30 inch white vanity, fake marbel top and sink top set and fitted acrylic shower stall unit here in CANADA. Sink has been showing scratches for about 5 yrs. or so with only my husband and I using the room. Room was 5 X 8 with 6 X 8 tiles half way up the wall and same tiles only 12 X12 diagnal on the floor.
Did inclue the cost of the toilet and cabinet and light valance.

2 months ago cabinet above toilet fell off wall. Screws were NOT put into a stud. Luckily hubby was home when it fell off the into my hands. Obviously it was the contractor who done the work. Wo would not have them do work in our home again. There are many contractors out there to chose from.

We are currently just in the process of getting estimates for our main bathroom and have contacted reputable contractors..

I have had bad experiences with Home Depot's contractors. We totally remodeled our house in TV using local contractors and a great handyman.

We have a handicapped daughter, and need to have a wheelchair accessible shower installed in our bathroom. Does anyone have a reliable contractor that they can recommend?

Had work done by Home Depot and it was a very good experience . They use only licensed contractors to do any installations. They do kitchen cabinets ,counter tops of all kinds. You name it they will do it and they now have very low interest loans ,if you have a project that might need financing . I used them for many projects when I remodeled my last home. My neighbor across the street from me at my last address ,only used HD for his entire home remodel and he was happy with them also.

Had our Laminate installed through them a few years ago. Good experience.

Recently got a quote for a Kithcen Island. Thought it was rather high and went to Widwood Kitchen And Bath. They put the island in with a granite top for the same price HD wanted just for the cabinet base. HD estimate didn't include installation because HD requires electical outlet installed in any island they install.
