Agreed, I was new to the villages, and did not notice the lack of permits, and in fact did not know these were required, as we had other electrical work done that was allowed without permits.

Finely for around to calling them and ask specific questions and yes you are correct, my house came with hot tub and did not have permits, luckily it broke and I got rid of it. So, if I decide to get another one in Marion county as you said permits are required. Thank you for the correction.
