Default Does anyone know of a real gardener?

All we have seen so far are lawn care people who mow, blow & go. We are looking for someone with knowledge of plants & trees who can provide extra service like cultivation, pruning, fertilizer, etc. We tried Massey for a while on a quarterly plan in addition to our lawn care person but saw no positive results.

The little guys we have seen are basic cutting with some pruning here and there.

Hard to find what you are looking for here

We are using L & J Trimming Services - 352-216-3109 - for the "cultivation, pruning, fertilizer etc." services to mention. They will also take care of sprinklers - heads, placement, adjustments, repairs etc. They don't "mow and blow", however, but I mow my own lawn anyway.

The independents generally don't have the licensing to use chemicals and if the big guys see them spreading they turn them in. You might want to get true green or one of the companies that does only chemical applications and then get a smaller independent to do everything else. It might be legal if you were to buy the chemicals, you would need fertilizer, weed killer, fungicide, and herbicides for the lawn and there are lots of different things you can use for shrubs, trees, and flowers and then pay an independent to apply it for you.
