Default House Search in TV

When I attempt to do a Basic Search of the Sumter County records for a particular house, I put in the owner's name and the address. I do not put in the PIN as I do not even know what that is. In any event, without the PIN, the site comes back "No Record Found".

DO I need a PIN # for every house I want to look at or is there something else the program is looking for before it will disclose the record?

I have often entered just the name of a street - like Canal St - and have gotten the records for lots of properties in that area. Never needed a PIN # for those entries.

I was researching a record once, I remember, and could not understand why it was coming up 'record not found' - but then it hit me - i needed to go to another county! duh!

If you want, PM me and I'll see if I can assist.
