Get a extended bulb pole at Lowe’s or Home Depot , I had the same problem the pole works ,

Not only do I have a pole with a suction cup you can have if you want but I also have a ladder you can borrow.

Think there are extension poles that will do that. Need an additional head that will capture incandescent, flood, led bulbs (separate ones for each type)

the ceiling is 14 feet / I know guys with 6ft and 8ft but not many with 10ft or 12ft

Eight foot ladder should be fine, unless you are sending a midget up to do it!

Go to Lowe's or HD and purchase a pole made for doing such things. Gee, these people that recommend a handy-man are pretty helpless.

Find a handyman. Most will change out bulbs for a reasonable fee. I had mine all changed out and the cost was minimal.

You can buy a light pole it has clamp on the end that allows you to change a bulb. Probably can get in home depot
