This might provide answers for non-owners in need of villages IDs

It's not anyone's business how you live your life if it doesn't effect the life of others. I can only assume you tell everyone you meet...otherwise no one would care, know(and if at all intelligent...)ask.

If you're afraid of being rejected just don't tell anyone...personally I think it's great you found someone to be with...how could that be wrong..to any sane person. It someone does tsk-tsk...walk away as those people aren't worth the time or worry...

When I closed on my home in March I was told I needed to have my gal's name listed on a utility bill. When I returned in July the office said I was misinformed. I needed to prove my gal lived with me in Ohio. Gave us a list of 4 items that needed to be completed, including her address on her Ohio license plus either her name on the title, and mail sent to my address or one other item. They don't make it easy. I'll just keep getting guest passes for her until her license comes up for renewal.

Also, the guy who owned the home before me had women in and out of there for 3 yrs and from what he said never had an issue with residency. Go figure.

Was it Mr. Midnight's house?

I called The Villages information folks to find out since we are in the same situation of living together but not married, for 11 years. I was told, and I looked it up and saw it in writing, that IF WE HAVE DRIVERS LICENSES THAT SHOW BOTH OF US WITH THE SAME ADDRESS, EVEN IF THE ADDRESS IS NOT IN FLORIDA, that I could get a 3-year blue ID card because Paula owns the home in The Villages. We fell in love with the atmosphere, the people, the activities after our second, 3-month visit and so Paula purchased a home in the Silver Lake area. We look forward to spending a much longer time in The Villages this winter (for me) and fall/winter (for Paula). I hope this helps. As a 43-year newspaper editor, I've learned to check Internet forum information with the official sources. And to get it in writing so there's no confusion. I'll be flying down in December for 10 days to purchase a golf cart to park on Paula's driveway, and to have it repainted with a "WV" and West Virginia University Mountaineers blue and gold colors. Any suggestions about that would be welcomed.
