To Bob45. I used the Landfill behind Moyer Rec. Ctr. twice for yard debris and they alway charged me $30. which they told me is the minimum. I am a Village Resident. Have I been getting ripped off?

I recently concreted over the area next to my air conditioner behind the wall of our CYV. I had about half a yard of sand and stone.

It took me a good 2 months, but I Shawshank'd the material a little at a time over a lot of places. Some in yard debris bags, some in the yard, some at a dumpster where I work. I said "I'm Shawshanking that pile" every time someone asked

I too have used the landfill on Moyer Loop. I am always amazed that I don't come out of there with a nail. I do come out of there $30 lighter though.

I agree with VillageTinker, spread it out bit by bit over your lawn. It is not the easiest, but possibly the best solution.

I don't know. Maybe they are now charging Villagers. I didn't have a lot of dirt. Maybe that's why they didn't charge. Thanks, I'll know not to go back.
