Can't imagine life in TV without one. We use ours for errands, Dr's appointments, shopping, going to lunch or dinner and oh yes, we even use it for golf 2/3 times a week.

Got two carts. Got a motorcycle I will be bringing there. But I actually find the cart the fastest way to get to most places. With the bike, I got to get it out, put on some leather, helmet, gloves, put the garage door opener in the saddle bag, and by the time I get ready to jump on the bike, I am already there in the cart. The bike and car are great for going a distance, but for running around, to the square, to go eat, to the store, the cart is the fastest and most easy way to travel. A car and bike (I didn't say that) will go before the carts.

I own a motorcycle and just bought a house in TV. I will be getting a golf cart, but only because my wife will use it. I much prefer the cycle and would fall asleep going 20 miles an hour.

There is a couple across the street from me who don't have a cart. Everyone else in the neighborhood has one. Some have two.

Thanks for all the replies. I think the best advice was on renting one and see if I like it. I didn't mention that I don't play golf. I'm sure the wife would like one as she doesn't go much over 20 mph in a car anyway. LOL

I'm with your wife. Any conveyance that goes over 10 mph makes me nervous, except for big ships, planes and cars. That's why I like sailboats and trawlers. If you only have a golf cart, how do you get to Home Depot, the destination of choice for some of us?
