Default How many people view Talk of The Villages each day??? Wanna know?

Since we made the switch to the new, faster server late last month, Talk of The Villages page views have jumped by about 3-thousand per day. Previously we were averaging 10,000 page views per day, now it's up to between 13,000 and 14,000 per day.

Man oh Man, I wish is was an advertiser. This is the place I'd be.

It was obviously a hassle (at least for me) to wait for the former site application to process-to the point where I would rather not wait for posts, etc. to complete.
I think a lot of subscribers probably felt the same way and just didn't bother posting, replying or just reading info on the site.
But thanks to the update (and congratulations for the vast improvement), I think more subscribers are willing and anxious to log in and stay logged in??!!!!!!

I check in twice a day to see if there is any golf or restaurant news. It's a great site but it seems to be dominated by by five or six members who must stay on all day and comment about everything. Perhaps advertisers need to see more users to be convinced about your numbers. Advertisers or not, you have done a terrific job putting this together.

Great job Jan, Disc, and Tony

I'm on about 2-3 times a day.

The amount of info I have gotten from this site is priceless.

Actually, the number of views (13,000 to 14,000) per day is the important number. Not the number of posters. Think of a radio talk show. 3% to 5% of the listeners call and talk on the air. the other 93% to 95% listen but never call. Exactly the same here, the posters are the callers, the readers are the listeners.

I probably read TOTV once or twice a day. My husband and I have found it extremely helpful with our move to TV. (We bought a house a couple of weeks ago and will move down soon.) I'm sure we'll continue to read it, once we're moved in. Thank you for having this positive, informative and fun site!!

Good to know, Jan. The problem with radio is though that you almost never get through or have to wait a long time. Here there is almost instant gratification.

Yes we do, through Google analytics. It's in the thousands every day.

I view twice a day; morning and evening. I always like to check the new subjects to see what is going on. I also like to view the older interesting topics that have a lot of posts.
Every week I learn some useful tidbits.

I'm on at least twice a day. When we travel, I only log on occasionally.
